If United expects people to use their own devices for entertainment they should put charging outlets in each seating area. I arrived with 14%battery power. That is not good when you arrive anywhere and need to communicate for transportation.
The seats were uncomfortable. The flight was almost 9 hours and they didn’t serve lunch

Boarding went well, staff was friendly. Food was not goods at all. I had ordered vegan meal. The seat I picked didn’t have storage area in the front and so had to put my small back pack at the top.my flight to Bangalore from Munich, the tv was broken so I got complimentary wifi which never worked. Food there too wasn’t good. I had paid extra for the seats. The only good thing is that the fact we have a flight direct from Charlotte to Bangalore with one stop in Munich!
Paid WiFi was only available for a few minutes. Avoid at all costs.
Crowded flight, but upbeat and kind crew. Pilot greeted us at door, flight attendant thanked a number of “special” passengers for their business, another addressed an eight-year old boy as “young man.” United obviously trying to up their game, but though all of that is nice and notable, flying still feels like moving along a human assembly line, being herded into one small space after another (boarding areas with too few seats, planes with limited personal space, shuttles (IAD) packed too full.
For some strange reason I was put in zone 5 for boarding even though I had paid premium price for a premium seat right behind business class. This must have been a flaw because everyone else around me in the same zone (row) had been placed in zone 3.
The food needs to be improved, up to the standard of the people and the accommodation.
I bought internet for the flight. Don’t waste your money. I wasn’t able to download a 1 Mb file from Google Docs during a 3-4 hr period. You can only use WhatsApp and email if you are willing to wait.
The Air Canadian personnel were all very professional and friendly. I will definitely fly on them again.
The trip was fine and uneventful. The seat in business class was very uncomfortable which was disappointing given the extra cost. It was spacious but it felt like I was sitting on metal bars. The food in business class wasn't very good. The flight was ahead of time, the staff was professional and courteous and our luggage arrived safely.
The staff were so kind and helpful. We flew back from NY with another airline and it was horrible. We will always stick with Air Canada as everything was far better!
There is no reason for a 5 hour flight, the only option is purchased food and free drinks. The airline should at least offer free chips, peanut, etc and then the option to purchase additional food
Terrible crew. Mediocre food. Terrible headphones. No Bluetooth connection for entertainment. Crying babies. Horrible experience.
It was a refreshing experience from the past few times I have travelled with Air Canada.
It was very bad travelling with air canada the people working at check in bagages was very bad person any way I pay to much many to get good flights but it’s not
I sat in a business class bulkhead row which I paid full price for. I carried on a backpack only, which held my medications and valuables. I placed it in the overhead bin above my head as there is no seat in front of me to put the bag under. The very last person to board had a roller bag, with no more room in the overheads. Rather than inconveniencing someone in coach or a flight crew, the flight attendant (Luis) insisted that my smaller backpack move to an overhead bin several rows behind me (where I had no line of sight to my valuables) to accomodate this last minute straggler. He told me that I paid full price for my seat and not the storage space. Unacceptable.
Flight was cancelled in Antigua and they made me find my own hotel, taxi and pay for all my food. Flight was delayed more than 24 hours due to mechanical and air canada doesn't want to pay the $1000 due for reimbursement
It is air Canada so leaving 20 minutes late is very acceptable
