They cancelled my reservation, as they had no cars. And the line was about 100+ people long to even talk to a clerk. What an awful experience for everyone

Pros:

Staff was friendly, we were booked to pick up the car at 4 and they closed at 4, but staff stayed to help us even though it was 4:10

Cons:

No washer fluid in the car and the inside could have been cleaner

Pros:

The agent was very helpful and was able to get us a car DESPITE the fact that our reservation was for pickup in downtown Orlando, NOT at the Orlando airport. She saved the day for us.

Cons:

The line for pickup was 2 hour wait. Very crowded. Kayak/Priceline had the reservation as pickup in downtown Orlando, NOT the airport, which was not clear. I had indicated pickup at MCO (airport) Be sure you understand where the pickup is as this can totally mess up your day. Luckily the Dollar agent was able to get us a car. The agent said she sees this switcharoo for pickup location frequently with reservations through Priceline. MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR PICKUP IS!!!!

The staff were friendly and helpful, drop off was easy with helpful staff.

Cons:

I had to stand in line for 3.5 hours at Orlando to pick up the car, more staff would have been helpful.

The local Thrifty agency cancelled the reservation without warning. When I showed up at the counter, they simply told me they did not have a car for me and there was nothing they can do. There was no car available at all. Never again with this crappy company.

Do not use this rental company. They are only open from 9:00 am to 12:00 on Saturday. 3 Hours. They are also closed on Sunday. They let me make a 12:00 reservation and no one was there. They left early. Called Thrifty/ Dollar and they said there was nothing they could do. No where in the rental agreement said the hours of operation. I hope this helps.

You all booked me a rental. I got an email confirmation. We went to the destination. 35 dollar Uber. And they don't have the car. Got a confirmation for the insurance too. I will be disputing these charges.

People at the kiosk just don’t have a sense of urgency. They are lazy! We got there on time to pick up the rental, he stepped off and didn’t come back for almost 30 minutes. He was not helping another customer. After I signed the paper, he said the car will be ready in 5 minutes. It took another 25 minutes for the car to come out ready. I asked him to adjust the time on the agreement and he was hesitant. I asked for a copy of the agreement with the adjusted time and was given an attitude. The car reeks of smell, had a 3/8 tank of gas. When I returned the car, there were customers waiting and I saw the guy on the parking lot on his phone busy with something for a good 10-15 minutes. . I could here frustrated comments from other customers. I gave him the key when he came back. Then he gave it back a minute later and asked me to take a photo of the odometer and fuel for him back out in the parking lot. Wasn’t he supposed to do that for his verification? Lazy!

My cars were not available at 12:00 when I got to the agency, which was the agreed pick up time, because they had closed earlier than advertised. This was a truly awful experience and I recommend that anyone renting a vehicle speak directly to the company that you plan to use to rent your vehicle.

I was charged for an extra day and numerous other unknown fees. The agent wants able to print a receipt, so the surprise came when I checked my account and requested an ereciept. The price ended up double what I intended to pay.

From my experience, Avis was not accommodating to me for booking through Kayak. I was contacted an hour before my pick-up time for them to inform me the car I reserved wouldn’t be available because no cars would be delivered to that particular location. When I asked if they could direct me to a location that would have vehicles, I was simply told to “Call customer service” then immediately hung up on. After booking through another company (which serves from the same location alongside Avis) they were able to book vehicles to customers who booked directly through them.

I was told the cost would be $1200 for a Rav-4 at the Orlando airport budget. The reservation was from 12/24-12/31. The price was unusually high as the quote I received was $42/day. The customer service agent suggested Goodway rental, a nearby rental car service close to the airport which would charge $900 for a RAV4. The agent explained the process of securing the new rental from Goodway rental. After waiting 30 minutes at the Delta arrivals area…the Goodway agent met me and proceeded to take me to the nearby facility. I asked the driver where it was located and how far it was and he couldn’t tell me! I told him to take me back to the airport or I would call the police. I don’t believe a 3rd party Rental agency should be offered by your Budget staff! This fraudulent rental agency should be investigated for female trafficking!

Agent at desk was rude. Car was dirty inside and out. Had reserved prior at different location and they called me an hour prior to pick up to say they did not have vehicle. Web availability is not accurate. Was told I need to call each store to verify inventory but the store number gets routed to call center who cannot verify. Company needs new software, better management and the employees will hopefully have a better attitude when they have less issues.

Manager would not rent to me and made me to go the airport. I told him that he had to manually enter my driver's license and he refused to. At the airport they listened and rented to me with no problem. I am livid that he made Uber to airport, horrible customer service from the manager.

Pros:

loved the car we rented, the process to pic up the car was a little slow waiting for our turn at the counter, but once we got there, it was fast and no problems.

Cons:

The fact that I had to return the car. I really enjoyed the car we choose and we had no issue with the process.
