Paid for SUV, got car. Gas tank was empty, car was filthy inside and out. Picked up at Ritz-Carlton and was amazed that they let the Hertz Rental space be so ordinary. The manager of the rental office was a bit rude, and not at all accommodating. I will Never use Hertz again2.0 Poor

Tough to contact since toll free numbers never answered. Confusing that this location was shared with two other car companies and made it to difficult to find a direct number. All locations in Central Florida were closed including the one we were to pick up the van on the scheduled day but the numerous people on the phone we talked with were nice but unable to help us or the other 2 families trying to pick up their rentals, Ended up renting at last minute with Enterprise.Cons:
To not have the pickup location scheduled on a day that it and all others in Central Florida were closed (July 4th). Temporarily stranded our family and 2 others trying to pick up rentals on their scheduled day. Why would a company schedule to pick up rentals when no pickup location was open. We tried multiple locations, one family even had to take an Uber twice since location was closed and they rented from Enterprise at Airport like we did as well. What a mess up it was.2.0 Poor

The staff at pickup was friendly and helpful. They took pictures of the car in front of me to show they were capturing the current condition (I don’t like it when it’s not done in front of you). The car was a nice car and ran with no issues.Cons:
First because the rental location was so far from the airport We ended up spending more on cab/shuttle rides than we saved on this deal. It wasn’t clear that it was so far away (it was located in a hotel a 15 min drive from the airport). I thought maybe it was like Vegas where it was a short shuttle ride away. In short don’t take car rental deals that are not a part of an airports car rental system.2.4 Poor

The customer service was dismal. Emails and phone calls provided no details on their non standard pick up time expectations (if you don’t show up at your exact pick up time, no one will be there to get you a car). Absolutely no concern for my resulting customer experience (The person who was supposed to be there never apologized or demonstrated any empathy when I reached her on the phone wondering how to get a car. She showed absolutely zero interest in helping solve the problem and instead repeatedly highlighted that she was at lunch. And she was abrasive and defensive when I asked simply to know when she would be back.) I ended up just leaving and using Uber/Lyft instead.2.0 Poor

They were completely out of cars. I was one of 5-6 people standing in the lobby who had the same issue. Despite reserving a car days in advance, I was told they ran out of cars at 8am that day. The facility was dirty and hard to find. Once getting there no one was at the counter, I had to call a number and talk to a guy who was not helpful at all. The company was Dollar Rent a Car, but all their signs said Thrifty. Terrible experience.Enterprise Rent-A-Car

First off, they made me return the car a a location 32 miles away from what was originally scheduled to be y drop off then told me they had no way to help me get back to my hotel! I had to walk 2 miles to a bus stop and take public transportation back - took me almost 3 hours - NOT HAPPY AT ALLNational

Car was clean. After the no shuttle issue, they allowed us to return the car directly to the airport at no additional charge. But the issue of no shuttle should have been indicated before I rented the car.Cons:
No shuttle from airport to Thrifty. Had to take a cab which costs 50 dollars. The doubletree hotel, where this Thrify was located, was 15 miles away from the airport. I should have rented directly from a car rental located at the airport. It negated the lower rate I paid.2.0 Poor

Could drop off in Orlando though I picked up in Ft. Lauderdale.Cons:
Thrifty inside a hotel with no sign. GPS could not find, spent 45 minutes lost and had a flight leaving. When I get there they say NO airport shuttle. I was in disbelief. I was told to call Customer service with fligjht leaving in 1 hr. 45 mn. They finally answered after 11 min. on phone . Explained and they said could not fulfill my request to drop car at airport instead because of midunderstanding. NO manager and it wouil cost $186 to change. I do not use Uber in Puerto Rico and leaving me frustrated I had to ask for Taxi last minute, a 15 min. ride cost me $45. Worst Customer Service I have ever had, no one with authority to over ride simple decision. Never again will I do Thrifty.2.0 Poor

The car, '17 Elantra was beautiful. Very comfortable, and clean.Cons:
Did not like having to stumbled and bumble around trying to find the staging lot, then locate the car. Difficult exiting lot as gate did not lift, and no answer when call button pressed. Had to wait for maintenance(?) cart to happen along and open gate. This location (10100 International Dr) should (at the least) have better signage, or perhaps instruct valets to be of assistance.Car rental locations in or near Williamsburg
