Port Columbus International Airport hosts eight on-site car rental companies located on the parking garage's ground level: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, and Thrifty. (Telephone numbers are located at the Airport's website.) You don't have to leave the parking facility to rent a car with one of these companies.
Airport Shuttles
You can catch a downtown shuttle that runs every 20 minutes to the heart of Columbus right at the Airport Terminal. Additional arrangements can be made by contacting one of the shuttle services listed on the Airport's web page: Arch Transportation, Super Shuttle, and Urban Express Transportation. In addition, the web site lists 26 charter bus services that you can call, along with their contact information.
Limousine Services
With 32 limo services to choose from on the Airport's website, you will have plenty of choices for getting the best rate and service.
In addition COTA (Central Ohio Transit Authority) can take passengers to all major points of the city of Columbus. Check the schedule and rates at www.cota.com.
Taxi Services
Taxis are available at the Terminal around the clock. The estimated fare to downtown Columbus is $22. The rate for loading and the first 1/9 mile is $2.75 with each additional 2/9 mile charged at $.40. A $3 surcharge applies to fares originating at the Airport. Sales tax is 6.75%.
