Five on-site car rental companies service Edmonton International Airport. Airline guests can make advance reservations with Avis, Budget, Hertz, Thrifty, or National car rental companies. Rental car booths or counters are located on Level one of the Main Terminal hall near the Parkade parking lot and baggage claim areas.

Public/Ground Transfer

Public transportation is available with Airport Express. Guests can receive transfer to various locations within the local vicinity, which include Downtown Edmonton. The Downtown area features several hotels, restaurants, and conference centers. Public buses also operate from the airport. Several shuttle services such as Sky Shuttle are authorized to serve Edmonton International Airport. Guests can locate shuttles outside Door #7 on the arrivals level of the Main Terminal hall. Advance reservations are recommended. Telephones are located on level one and guests can request shuttle service. Several area hotels also provide complimentary airport pick-up and drop-off.

Prestige Limousine Company provides pick-up and drop-off service at International Airport. Limo services are cheaper than taxis, and are able to accommodate multiple passengers. Drivers carry passengers to various locations such as hotels, businesses, and communities. Hourly rates apply, and airline passengers can request larger stretch limousines or limousine vans.

Taxi Services

Airport Taxi Services provides transportation to and from Edmonton International. Several taxicabs are handicapped accessible, and passengers may request larger taxi vans. Taxicab pick-up is located outside Door #7 on the arrivals level of the Main Terminal hall. Passengers in need of a special need taxicab should make advance preparations.
