Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty are all located on-site at the Rental Car Service Center on the ground level of the parking garage. Ace/Continental and Payless/Fox also have shuttles from the airport to their off-site rental lots.
Public/Ground Transfer
Public transportation is sparse around the airport. Lee Tran is the main bus service, with hourly service between 6am and 10pm to a transfer point at the intersection of Daniels Parkway and US 41. This is a good option for long-distance travel.

For most destinations near the airport, taxi fees are charged by zones rather than meters. For up to three people, there are maximum fees that can be charged for each area. Each additional passenger is an extra $10. Most places within Fort Myers are between $20 and $40.
