Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, known by its airport code as FLL, has four terminals: Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4. It is located 3 miles southwest of the center of Fort Lauderdale, 21 miles north of Miami and about 10 minutes from the beach. It's also very close to Port Everglades, a major port for cruise ships, with many of the cruise ship passengers passing through FLL. Due to this cruise ship traffic, the airport can get very crowded on weekends. FLL also offers free wireless internet access throughout the airport. • The Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is located just off the U.S. 1 and has its own Airport exit.
• From the North: Take I-95 South to I-595 East to the U.S. 1.
• From the South: Take I-95 North to I-595 East to the U.S. 1.
• From the Beach: Take Sunrise Blvd. going west to Federal Highway. Take the U.S. 1 South.

Terminal 1

Terminal 1 is the newest terminal out of the four terminals, being completed in 2003. It is divided into two concourses: Concourse B and Concourse C. As with all of the terminals at FLL, the ground level is for arrivals and the upper level is for departures. Airlines served by Concourse B are: AeroMexico (departures only), Frontier, JetBlue and Southwest. Airlines served by Concourse C are: Continental, Continental Connection (Gulfstream), JetBlue and Northwest.

Terminal 2

Terminal 2 has one concourse to serve all the airlines that offer flights from this terminal: Concourse D. Those airlines include: Comair, Delta, Delta Connection (Chautauqua and Freedom Airlines) and Midwest. Baggage claim and ground transportation are located on the lower arrivals level and all check-in and boarding are on the upper departures level.

Terminal 3

Terminal 3 is separated into two concourses: E and F. Concourse E serves the following airlines: Air Tran, CanJet, First Choice (departures only), Skybus, Skyservice US Airways and Westjet. Concourse F serves: American, American Eagle, Bahamasair, TED, Thomas Cook (departures only), USA 3000 and United. Again, arrival is on the lower level and all check-in and departures are on the upper level.

Terminal 4

Terminal 4 has one concourse know as Concourse H. Airlines that operate from Concourse H are: AeroMexico (arrivals only), Air Canada, Air Jamaica, Air Transat, Avianca, Constellation, First Choice Airways (arrivals only), Spirit, Sunwing, Thomsonfly and Travelspan. All international flights coming into Fort Lauderdale arrive at Terminal 4. As a result, you will find Customs on the ground floor arrivals level. All check-in and boarding are on the upper departures level.
