San Antonio International Airport - SAT Transportation

San Antonio International offers several different ground transportation options between the airport terminals and various local area destinations. Information booths are located in both Terminals 1 and 2. There is also an information line that can be called. It is: 210-207-3411.

Car Rental

Ten rental car agencies serve San Antonio International, including Advantage, Alamo Avis, Budget, CAPPS (No terminal counter,) Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, and Thrifty. Passenger pickup for both Terminals is located next to their respective baggage claims.

Public/Ground Transfer

Public bus service is often the least expensive form of ground transportation. However, whether a passenger can use it or not is determined by whether the passengers travel plans work with the available bus routes and schedules.

Airport Shuttles

A shared ride shuttle service operates between the airport and downtown San Antonio. Called SATRANS, this service charges $14 per person to downtown hotels. Round trips are $24. Other areas are served, and charged by zone. More information is available at this URL: link

Several hotels and some off-airport parking lots offer courtesy van service to the airport. Pickup for these courtesy vehicles is outside the baggage claims of the two respective terminals.

Limousine Services

Approximately 29 limo companies serve San Antonio International. Fares depend on the destination and whether the car is shared or private. Many times, limos may be competitive with taxis and are usually more comfortable. Unlike taxis, most limos require advance reservations. Taxi Services

Some 22 cab companies serve San Antonio International. Taxi stands are located outside baggage claim at Terminal 1 and at the front curb outside baggage claim at Terminal 2. Airport to downtown fares run in the range of $18 - $20.
