Long Term Parking
There are two long-term parking areas. The first is open 24/7 and costs $2 for the first hour and $1 for each additional hour with a maximum of $8 per day or $48 per week. The second lot is only opened during peak travel times when the other long-term parking lot fills up. The rates in this second lot are the same, but it is farther from the terminal and passengers must take the free airport shuttle from the parking lot to the terminal. The airport parking only accepts cash or credit cards.
Discount Airport Parking
At the present time, the long-term parking offers the lowest rates, but for those staying for less than a day, the short-term lot is not expensive. The short-term lot rates are $1 for up to fifteen minutes, $2 maximum for the first hour, and then $1 an hour after that. The short-term lot has a maximum daily rate of $16. Cash or credit cards are the only acceptable form of payment.
Handicapped Parking
Handicapped parking areas are found in both the short-term and long-term lots. Disabled drivers are not offered a discount. Shuttles from the second long-term lot are handicapped equipped. It is beneficial to try to park in the short-term lot as it is closest to the terminal.
Airport Hotel Parking
Holiday Inn, Pacifica Suites, South Coast Inn, and Super 8 Motel are the closest hotels to Santa Barbara Airport, but they do not necessarily offer park and fly packages. It is best for passengers to call ahead and see if the hotels are willing to offer park and fly accommodations to their guests. Usually, this depends on the availability of each hotel in terms of rooms and parking spaces.
