Toronto International offers five car rental companies within the airport terminal and four off-site car rental companies. On-site companies include Avis, Budget, Thrifty, Hertz, and National. Off-site companies include Discount, Enterprise, Fox, and Payless. Courtesy shuttles operate continuously 24 hours a day and transfer guests to off-site rental car facilities.
Public/Ground Transfer
Several public transportation services operate at Toronto International Airport. Toronto Transit and GO Transit is available to transfer guests to Downtown Toronto. Bus service is available through Mississauga Transit, which drop-off and pick-up guests within the city limits. Other public transportation options available to guests include Pacific Western Airport Express.
Airport Shuttles
Many hotels offer courtesy pick-up and drop-off services. Guests should contact their hotel in advance and arrange pick-up. The airport also offers an on-site shuttle service that carry guests back and forth between the terminal and distant parking lots. Private shuttle vans are available to transfer passengers to any off-site location.
Limousine Services
Airline passengers can arrange private limousine pick-up upon arrival at Toronto International Airport. Stretch limousines and sedan town cars are available at an hourly rate. Pre-arrangements are recommended. However, several limo services visit the airport regularly and accommodate passengers without a reservation. Typical hourly rate for limo or town car service is $20 CDN.
Taxi Services
Taxicab service can be pre-arranged prior to arrival at the airport. If not, passengers can locate a taxicab 24 hour a day outside Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. Terminal 1 passengers can exit through door D1 and proceed to the taxicab booth. Terminal 3 passengers can access taxicabs at Post 23.
