The T. F. Green Airport is located about 8 miles south of Providence, Rhode Island, in Warwick. A little over an hour away from Boston, it serves passengers looking for an alternative to Boston's Logan Airport, as well as serving people coming from Cape Cod, Newport and Connecticut. Due to the increasing number of people using the airport, T. F. Green's one terminal is in the process of expansion, to be completed in late 2007. Commuter rail service is also being extended so passengers from Boston's South Station can go directly to T. F. Green starting in 2009. The T. F. Green stands for Theodore Francis Green who was both a governor and a senator of Rhode Island. Wireless internet access is available in public spaces throughout the terminal via the T-Mobile HotSpot service. Airlines served by the airport are: Air Canada, American Airlines, Cape Air, Continental Airlines, Delta Airlines, New England Airlines, Northwest Airlines, SATA International, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines and US Airways.
