Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson International Airport - ATL

Main Terminal

The Main Terminal is divided into north and south concourses with a large atrium in between. Surrounded by all of the parking garages, the main terminal houses many restaurants and stores and leads to the Terminal T Gates where some flights are handled. Three sit-down restaurants within the terminal make it easy for passengers to enjoy a quick meal before or after a flight. There are also a number of restaurant stands with shared seating. A large visitor's center is in the front of the terminal and behind it are the escalators to the train system that links all of the terminals. Baggage claim and Delta ticketing are found towards the back on both sides. Beyond this is the entrance to the Terminal T Gates.

The North Concourse handles ticketing and baggage claim for Air Canada, Air France, Air Jamaica, AirTran Airways, American Airlines, British Airways, Continental, Frontier Airlines, KLM, Korean Air, Lufthansa, Midwest Airlines, Northwest Airlines, Spirit Airlines, United, and US Airways. The South Concourse handles ticketing and baggage for all Delta flights.

Terminal T

Linked directly to the Main Terminal, Terminal T houses gates T1 through T14 on the north side and T1-T8 on the south side. Terminal T serves American Airlines, AmericanConnection, American Eagle, Delta Airlines, United Airlines, and United Express. TTY phones for the hearing impaired are scattered throughout the terminal. The basement level brings passengers to the train system that links all terminals and to baggage claim for American Airlines.

Concourse A

Concourse A is easily reached by taking the train from the main terminal's basement level to Concourse A's train and baggage area. Concourse A houses gates A2 through A34. Airlines served by this concourse include all Delta Airlines and Delta Connection flights. There are a number of restaurants and shops throughout the concourse and TTY phones for the hearing impaired are found throughout the building. On the third level, passengers will find Delta's Crown Room Club.

Concourse B

Concourse B serves Delta Airlines and Delta Connection flights. As with the other terminals, the train connecting the terminals is found below the main level. Many services including restaurants, shops, and TTY phones are scattered throughout the level. Concourse B has Gates B1 through B36. A smoking lounge is available in this concourse.

Concourse C

Concourse C serves AirTran Airways, Delta Airlines, and Delta Connection flights via a number of gates numbering from 1 to 36. The train connecting Terminal C to other terminals is found beneath the main level. There are a number of TTY phones for the hearing impaired and numerous other restaurants, stores, and passenger services.

Concourse D

Concourse D is the second to last terminal as one heads away from the main terminal. This terminal serves Air Canada, Air Canada Jazz, AirTran Airways, Continental Airlines, Continental Express, Delta Airlines, Delta Connection, Frontier Airlines, Midwest Airlines, Northwest Airlines, Spirit Airlines, US Airways, and US Airways Express. Gates D1 to D31 are found within the terminal along with a number of shops and restaurants. Additionally, there are many TTY phones for the hearing impaired. Continental's lounge is also found in Concourse D.

Concourse E

Concourse E is split up with the lowest level serving baggage claim and the train service to the other terminals. The center area houses gates E14 through E19 and then the rest of this concourse is divided into a North Corridor (Gates E26 to E36) and the South Corridor (Gates E1 to E12). Concourse E is the present international concourse and serves Air France, Air Jamaica, British Airways, Delta Airlines, Delta Connection, KLM, Korean Air, and Lufthansa. British Airways, Delta, and Lufthansa all have clubs and lounges in this concourse. TTY phones for the hearing impaired are found throughout all areas of this concourse. A second international concourse is in the works and will be opening in 2010.
