Description:
Registered as a Virginia historic landmark, the Inn has been welcoming travelers since 1820. Located on four-acres in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, it is a charming four-story brick building with timber framing and English kitchen on the lower level. Its simple federal style is characteristic of the public houses of that period. Meander among the wild flower gardens, swing under a giant oak or simply sit on the hill and enjoy magnificent panoramic mountain views. Separate from the main building, a two room cottage offers guests that honeymoon-like escape. The cottage was originally the summer kitchen for the Inn.
