The Inn is decorated with period antiques and is centrally located between Quechee and Woodstock, and just minutes from all seasonal activities and fine dining. You'll find six gorgeous guest rooms, four of which have fireplaces/stove, all of which have private baths. For your comfort, all guest rooms are air-conditioned. After a comfortable and restful night, you'll be served a sumptuous and healthy gourmet breakfast, including Barbara's own applebutter! Relax by the fireplace in the Front Parlor with a cup of tea and a book from our extensive library, or pick out a tune on the Mason & Hamlin grand piano in the Music Room. Or, in summer, take your complimentary afternoon tea and freshly baked refreshments to the porch overlooking the Inn's expansive private lawn and gardens. Start your day with a run or leisurely stroll along the Ottauquechee River over the Taftsville Covered Bridge. Then, after breakfast, visit with Bob and Mary Fraser in their antique shop, or chat with Charlie Wilson as you browse his best-of-Vermont-stocked Taftsville Country Store. However you choose to spend your time at the Applebutter Inn, you are sure to return home refreshed, relaxed and rejuvenated.
