The Iris Hotel & Studios complex is a modern, colourful family hotel set on a hillside 300 metres from the town centre and one kilometre from Afandou Beach. Afandou beach, one kilometre from the hotel, offers wind surfing, jet skiing and snorkelling, and golfers will find the nearest course two kilometres from the hotel. Those wishing to venture further afield than Afandou will find the lively town of Faliraki five kilometres away and Rhodes City 20 kilometres away. More sedate entertainment can be found at the Valley of the Butterflies and Seven Springs, both within eight kilometres. Rhodes Diagora airport is 20 kilometres from the hotel, and be reached by car in approximately 20 minutes.
