Description:
Goa's newest small luxury 'Heritage'Property /India's answer to the Paradors and Relais et Chateaux, Siolim House is a recently restored 300 year old Portuguese era manor house that once belonged to a governor of Macau. Experience life in a beautiful goan village, close to Goa's most beautiful northern beaches in an area unencumbered by tourist development. After an extensive restoration that lasted more than two and a half years, we have opened Siolim House to welcome discerning guests looking for something other than a 'five star' hotel. The entire restoration of Siolim House was done with a view to it being a home, and therefore we were very generous in our use of space. In a building that had twenty-four rooms there are today only seven suites and seven bathrooms. Extensively furnished with antiques and exquisite rare wood carved furniture, this is as close as one can get to experience the 500 years of Portuguese influence in Goa
