This is a smaller resort than some of the other Disney resorts but this is actually more of a bonus as it is so easy to get around and everything is loacted within easy reach. The hotel is the first point to get picked up from and first to get dropped off from on the free shuttle bus so this is a big plus! The cobbled 'street' and quaint surroundings make this a quiet and romantic place to stay - so its suitable for everyone from couples, to familys with kids. The rooms are comfortable and a decent size and many of them have good views. The food quarter serves good breakfasts but for sit down meals in the evening, the cost is the same as other disney resorts. There's a lovely pool area with a hot tub, playground and games room and the 10 minute walk along the river to Port Orlean's Riverside is a nice stroll. Once you get there, there's a jogging trail, bike rental and fishing available. There's a water taxi to downtown Disney which is nice and relaxing and Horse Drawn Excursions too. The staff here are really friendly and especially efficient with check in and quick requests for more towels etc. Definately a hotel worth staying at!
