Bill O'Donnell

billo "billo" has been a professional programmer for a long time. He has written a wide range of software that includes VMS kernel tools, publishing software (written in LISP), embedded factory automation systems and Java web applications. In 1994, while at Interleaf, he invented one of the first large-scale HTML web site publishing systems, Cyberleaf. His pragmatic, possibly cynical, views on software development and technology are evident in this description of kayak.com technology.

Recently, billo was a Chief Architect at Intuit. During his tenure at Intuit, he drove design of a common Java platform for building web applications that has been adopted by many Intuit business units.
