Pros:Very quick check-in.
Avis assessed an " ESTIMATED NON TAXABLE PRODUCTS/SERVICES" amount of $389. 90 . This amount is not defined. I suspect it is a 'DROP-OFF FEE' . AVIS needs to clarify. More transparency needed on expected expenses.
Fast and friendly
Poor experience. I was quoted a price and ended up paying more than said price, even though I didn’t add extra packages, extend the duration of rent, get fined, or incur any damages to the vehicle. The associate at pickup location didn’t even inquire about third party insurance and went ahead to include their insurance with no proper explanation, which I “canceled” at that point, but it seems that it wasn’t after all.

Cons:The Fiesta I was given had mechanical issues. During the first few miles of driving it, it became obvious the dampers in the MacPherson struts were excessively worn. Any irregularities in the road cause the pitch multiple times before it finally damped out. Due to this issue, I exchanged the car at my first destination. I took the car and went on my way. At highway speeds, there was a vibration coming from the wheels. I found they were worn excessively. Although they we just at the wear indicator, they were highly scalloped.
Received a smaller car than I paid for. It was not clean.

Cons:Avis staff would not rent a car to me. Had to go next door and rent from budget rental cars. They were fantastic, with no issues.
