The parking lot is not marked well enough given the tight space. Painting on the ground would help determine where to pick up and drop off the cars and where to wait if you're getting dropped off or picked up by someone?

My biggest issue and reason I will no longer use kayak or enterprise is the fact that I was in a way robbed. I feel like the Kayak and Enrerprise coordinated their efforts in order to charge me almost double what I signed up for on your site. I was quoted 1 rental price + an optional $9 daily full coverage option. When I picked up the rental I again confirmed that I was signed up through the $9 daily coverage. It should have totaled $27 (3 days at $9) but when I returned the car I was sent home with an invoice that charged me almost double the total rental quote due to a $106 coverage which was about $79 more than I was quoted, and $79 more than I had been told by the Enterprise agent at pickup. The agent made absolutely zero effort to resolve this blatant fraud and again this is the reason that I 1) will never use your services again and 2) the reason that I'm going to make it my duty to spread the word both by mouth and by internet to as many people as possible.

Pros:

Was going on a 3-day cross country road trip for California to Florida when we were upgraded for free frim a subcompact to SUV with no additional cost. The SUV comfort more than made up for the increased gas cost (especially since gas was so cheap through the South compared to CA). The service was fast and courteous on both ends: from pick up in CA to dropoff at Orlando Airport.

They kept trying to upcharge us for everything! Our original price went from $140 to like $400 before I said no to all extra charges. The drop off location was also INCREDIBLY difficult to find.

The vehicle I reserved had an inoperative AC compressor. Alamo quickly substituted an equivalent vehicle but the new car was EXTREMELY dirty from the previous family and had not likely been cleaned by Alamo. I was in an rush to depart for our family trip so I could not take the time to have Alamo clean the car. During the course of the rental period, I detailed the interior which was filthy and washed the outside of the vehicle. As I was returning the car at Orlando International Airport, the attendant asked me if I was happy with the rental. I explained what happened and what I had done. He instantly apologized and then offered to compensate me with a discount on the rental. I was overwhelmed and shocked that he would offer that to me without my asking. It shows how serious Alamo is about customer satisfaction. I would rent from Alamo any time I am on travel. Keep up the great work!

This was the worst car experience I ever had. My reservation was for 12pm but the car rental agency is. closed from 12pm - 2pm. When we showed up at 2pm they said because it had been two hours the reservation was cancelled and the car was already resold. BUT ITS NOT POSSIBLE as they were closed so how did they sell the car. Anyway they almost ruined our vacation but luckily there was a RENT - A - CAR across the street with a super friendly staff and ended up being cheaper. NEVER USE ALAMO IN DAX

I have never waited so long to pick up a car with a reservation already made. The location is either under staffed or they are just so slow. One customer representative specifically and aggressively trying to get costumers to pay more, to upgrade to expensive cars, pay for fast lane, add insurance. He is using fear tactics and it slows down the line highly.

They refused my credit card saying it was debit. Indigo although a crappy card is only a credit card. Coachella was going on and I think they just wanted to rent it for more since I planned ahead. Stay away from these guys.

Getting to the Midway rental office from the airport is a bit confusing and poorly marked/explained. You take an airport bus from the arrivals to a parking lot down road from the airport, and then the rental car companies routinely come by and use vans/large SUVs to bring people from that parking lot to their specific rental location. The check out line was long and slow (about 35-40 mins of waiting), but once I got to counter it was smooth and it took 5-10 minutes to get the paperwork filled out. Returning car was fast and easy.

most car rental places at LAX pick you up directly. midway makes you take this bus, operated by the airport, which stops at every terminal and then brings you to a random area which then you get off and then finally head to the rental location. once there, they have no bathroom, and the line moves super slowly. better to spend another $50 per day to avoid this hassle.

Pickup and return of the rental car to the CVG Cincinnati airport was superb. Returning a car quickly is so important with the pressure of getting it done before the flight time. The staff I worked with at CVG was excellent both in picking up the car and returning it.

Car was good and price was great , although the waiting times to pick up the car was quite high since only one person was working. In addition the worst part was when the drop off occured where there was no physical person and the car park was full and there was no space to park the car safely, we called the appropriate number but there was no people speaking proper English to guide us had to leave the car in a bad way parked which stressed us as all sorts of issues could occur, can expect one floor of car park to accommodate all the rentals.

Loved the 2024 Subaru Outback and a dream car to drive with 7k miles. Last rental with Alamo 2 weeks ago was a old Malibu with too many miles and should be retired. First experience with Dollar and a 10 star everyone was so nice!

This would have been a good experience apart from two things: 1) the repeated pestering texts and e-mails insisting that I check in online in advance, which I tried to do but the system didn't work; and 2) HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I waited for over half an hour to speak to someone in India who was hard to understand and then in the end said she couldn't do anything to change my pick-up time because I had booked through a third party service, and gave me a non-functional phone number to try to reach the airport desk. What a pity. The car was fine and the airport pick-up staff were fine. But I will never use Dollar again because that company wouldn't let those people just do their job.

A representative never showed up at the airport to meet me, they never tried to contact me to say there was an issue, and the phone number given never worked. I called 24 times throughout the day. I ended up renting from Europcar at the counter for three times the price. I think it's a SCAM. I was in Vienna.

I couldn’t find the location and no shuttle to the location of the car. The website description makes it seem as though it’s the airport area. It is not. Tried to call the facility but no answer. Ended up getting a rental from hertz which provides transportation to car rental area. DONT PURCHASE FROM THIS VENDER.

We had to call from the airport twice to get a pickup to the rental location which was 10 minute ride . Once there we found out that they did not recognize our insurance and I had to pay $260 for insurance . This now made my rental car more expensive than what was at the airports . Drop off went smooth , but we were dropped off at the rental location other than airport drop off for the airport .

Very bad. We paid by card $14 for two days, but when we went to get the car they ask us to pay 7 times this price plus $150 as a deposit. Why not to tell us the truth from the beginning, so we know the exact price. I am asking for paying me back the $14.
