Prompt service, starting with a phone call right after I booked the car, to let me know when the vehicle would be ready for me. Fun to drive the Dodge Charger R/T! Many thanks to Susan for the courtesy ride and for making it to my work shuttle on time. You're a great driver :).

Pros:

Car was a great car for driving around california. Quite zippy and very easy to parallel park. When picking up car, I felt it was a bit dirty outside and inside. Looked like Car had been vacuumed but windows, dashboard and and steering wheel were dirty. A simple detail would solve the problem so the next client can be assured a clean driving rental vehicle. I would rent again from both Enterprise and Kayak website.

Reserved a luxury SUV (Audi Q5 or equivalent was stated). When I arrived I was given the choice of only two SUV’s, both Ford Expedition Max. The vehicle is the biggest SUV Ford makes…6000lbs, 7 passenger and 20’ long. Not a luxury SUV and a gas guzzler averaging 13 mpg. You need a step ladder to climb into the vehicle. Was not a pleasant experience trying to drive and park that thing around Charleston SC.

Reserved a car .the car was not available. Didn't receive a phone call to say the car was not available. Then was asked to call back later no one answers the phone¡!!!! Bad!!!!! Service!!!!!

Total cost for car reservation online was $157. Once I picked up the car, there was an unexpected and additional 80Euro charge if crossing a border with the vehicle. This was never mentioned beforehand. Additionally, my credit card was charged 1400Euro deposit, which was also never mentioned anywhere previously. I called Budget customer service and spoke to an agent, who was extremely rude and unhelpful. I will never use Budget again!

The car was excellent and in excellent condition, but there were a lot of hidden fees that the company kept silent about. When choosing a car, the price on the website was $68 for two days, with hidden fees they charged $412 for two days. This is not pleasant, the company must inform customers about hidden fees. I will never go to Budget again because I feel cheated.

The line for pick up had one agent working and customers were lined up out the door. It took 40 minutes to get the car. I would never use budget again at this location.

The car ran ok & was reliable. However it was a car quite definitely below the level we had requested & paid for. We believe we were given this car, kept waiting an incredibly long time & treated averagely due to the desk woman being overworked & us booking the car through a third party.

The first car had broken windshield wipers. The second car did not have a working phone charger. The third car front screen was broken and they wanted to charge me an “upgrade” fee for a car that actually worked. The fourth car had the fewest issues and ALL the cars were filthy. In addition, the car insurance I purchased from Kayak was not accepted and they said should I have an issue I’d have to pay and be reimbursed by the third party insurance. Given the number of issues we found (because we are very detailed in looking at cars and documenting) I thought it would be wise to get their insurance which was three times higher priced. This place needs to immediately do maintenance on their vehicles and minimally wash them.

The woman at Marrakech pick up location was nice, professional, and clear. The man at Tangier drop off location was nice, professional and clear but he charged us for cleaning the vehicle which should have been included in price.

At was clean. Low tire light came on within 2 minutes of office to return. Tried to charge me 15€ for “tire repair”. I said no way and they waived it.

They charge an insurance fee for having your own insurance, the cars are poorly maintained, and the customer service is lousy.

Car had bad transmission. Never should have been rented. When I complained only got a shoulder roll. Non verbal response. Will avoid FOX in the future.

I loved the car loved the easy pick up and return of the rental car. The airport made it very self explanatory to get the car back with white letters on the road to direct you back to the rental car return. Made me smile. I had to extend my rental due to not finishing the work I came down for and the company made it very easy to extend.

Absolutely awful. I pre-paid for this car rental and when I arrived to the Payless counter, I was told that no cars were available! Calling Payless customer service was useless. They said that the best they could do is to process a refund... how was that going to help? I was stuck at Indianapolis Airport with no means of getting to my final destination. I will never rent with Payless again.

Easy pickup. Brief paperwork. Fun and technologically up-to-date car. A little hard to find the Naples car rental drop-off but that's not Hertz specific.

I don’t set the bar very high for car rental experiences, but this was the worst I’ve ever had. I waited almost an hour and a half for my car with only three others in line. The issue was that Hertz removed chip readers from their card scanners. They were blaming multiple credit card declines on each customers. I almost was not able to rent my vehicle because of an issue with their card readers. I was not the only customer with this issue. I was offered (and paid for) one vehicle, and once everything was closed out they had me wait for my car. Finally, they pulled up with a different vehicle entirely. This was an unacceptable experience. Everyone in the location was friendly, but frankly brain dead.

Advance check in was easy. I rented via car rentals.com. That was a pain since you can't contact hertz directly if you have an issue with a late plane or canceled flight to tell them you aren't coming. Did save a bunch of money with prepay.
