Pros:This is about Catania, not Palermo. The car was clean and low mileage. Excellent.
Cons:Check in is astonishingly bureaucratic and time consuming. If you are used to instant pick up, get used to disappointment. It is also a fair hike from the terminal with poorly signed access and, in places, no safe pedestrian walkway. Return is also poor - allow time. I did since I expected the worst after the check in experience. There is no one waiting for the vehicle. You find somewhere to drop it near the office, go in, wait in line and then someone comes out to do the checks. There is a bus to the terminal but I did not see any while I was there and walked.
Pros:Friendly staff. Excellent rate. Thought collection was a ride away but in fact just a few yards from Terminal. Car in good condition. Damage noted without me needing to. But actually car looked without blemish.
Cons:Hire was in dollars. Charged in euros without discussion. Made it harder to check the rate was right and two currency conversions. One at a rate not of my choosing.
