How much is a Porsche car rental in Pompano Beach?

The car I reserved was NOT provided. I reserved a Cadillac. When I arrived, I was offered a choice between a Challenger or a Jeep Wrangler. UNACCEPTABLE. The agent who assisted me was surly. Refused to give me her regional managers contact info. Terrible customer service.

Pros:

Nothing !! The reservation was cancelled at the last possible second by enterprise for not having any vehicles available . Their booking system is the worst and even the employees at the location agree ... wouldn’t it make sense to confirm with the location that the vehicle is there ??

Cons:

Everything !! Worst booking software / system I’ve dealt with .. their is zero communication between the national booking center that your FORCED to use and the physical locations .. none !! Most asinine thing I’ve seen and will no longer use enterprise unless there are just no other options .. sad that a national company can’t do better in the age of technology than this ....

Pros:

Absolutely nothing. Horrible customer service. Not even ONE vehicle was available for us to rent, yet allowed us to make a reservation. Offered no solution when we arrived.

Cons:

Everything. Could have offered an alternative rather than just saying sorry. Didn’t even call us in advance to notify us about the lack of vehicles available before our arrival, therefore their customer service as a whole could have been better. Regardless, I will never rent from enterprise again.

Peoples atititude was bad, was greeted like I was wasiting his time his name is Don i Believe. they did not have what I requested and acted like did not care. not good will never use them again

Cons:

I asked about tolls before taking the car. I was told that I would be billed for them after the rental was returned. All good, right? It turns out that there was also a $15 convenience fee for tolls, which was more than all of the actual tolls combined. Had I known, I'd have taken I-95.

I was able to choose the exact car I wanted and was even able to reserve a cooler and boogie board to use for the week. The car was in like-new condition. The free shuttle was convenient, fast and the drivers were nice. The location was a little bit further from the airport, but it wasn't a problem.

It was the first time we rented via Turo, so I don't have a good base reference to compare in general, and can only compare to car rental experiences with commercial fleets (like Budget or Enterprise). In general it was okay -- we made it to where we were going and back, with no major issues. It's doable. However, there were some "surprises" where things didn't quite got as we expected: * We made rental reservation with expectation that we're picking up at the airport. When we got there, it turned out that the car is not at the airport, and the address given to us turned out to be what seemed to be Portland's airport Fire Rescue Tower (where, obviously, we can't even walk to or be at). We called the owner, and turned out that the car is at some house that's "not far" from the airport, and gave us new address. So additional expense of taking Uber/Lyft to get to the car (and apparently that address exists in two neighboring towns, and somehow Uber/Lyft took us first to the wrong one, so we had to take another ride, but that's not a Turo issue, just more expense as a consequence of car not being at the airport as promised). * When we got there, we called the owner to get the keys: "-- Keys are under front door's floormat. -- Nope, they're not there. -- Then try mailbox? -- Yes, they're there." The owner wasn't there, which is okay to do this all remote, but would be nicer if owner was in general "on top of things" such as where the car is and where it is expected to be picked up, where exactly are its keys, etc. * Then owner requested that prior to return we take the car to be washed and cleaned inside and out. We neither planned on looking for car detailing places in Portland, nor for time that it would take away from sightseeing, nor for extra substantial expense it would be. We pushed back and the owner backed off saying that he'll let it go due to confusion with pickup location (and apparently he didn't send some email that he was supposed to send, or something along those lines). * And while the car wasn't too dirty, it wasn't clean to begin with (which made detailing request that more amusingly odd). Crumbs on floor and seats and luggage compartment. Worst part was that windshield was dirty on the inside that was minor unpleasant at daytime, but as driving progressed into night time, it was quite significant as it was blurring lights and affected visibility substantially. * We also added additional driver thru Turo and let the owner know. The owner requested that we send him picture of drivers license directly to him. We refused (as it didn't seem right, given that Turo is the one that manages that aspect) and he backed off. * Of course, additional expense of Uber/Lyft after return drop-off as we weren't dropping it off at the airport as originally planned. So all in all we probably spent additional $50-60 in Uber/Lyft for getting to and from cars location instead of it being in the airport, and lost about 3+ hours for dealing with additional unplanned travel. The rest was okay. Car drove fine and didn't give any problems.
